We were pleased to welcome politicians Alfred Bjørlo (V) and Eili Vigestad Berge (V) to Aleap for an in-depth look at startups in the health and biotechnology space – a great opportunity for discussions on business policy and health innovation, key areas for ensuring that groundbreaking solutions can reach the people who need them.
"We need good, concrete examples of successes and things that don't work," said Bjørlo — and they got plenty of both. Entrepreneurs from Baba Vision (Per Wessel Nore), Flow Technologies (Charles Michelson), GreinDX (Ove Vincent Solesvik), Vilje Bionics (Saeid Hosseini), Healthguard Systems (Hans Olav Steneng), Aristeia (Gard Fostad Moe), Varda Care (Lydia Bekkevold) and MedStorm Innovation (Hanne Storm) shared firsthand experiences about navigating the complex regulatory space, procurement, access to capital, and collaboration with the public healthcare system. Saeid Hosseini and Vilje showcased VilPower, an assistive device designed for individuals with significantly reduced arm functionality.
A big thank you to Alfred and Eili for engaging in these important discussions! We’re always happy to welcome policymakers interested in how technology and innovation can drive better healthcare.
