Ahead of International Women’s Day: Meet Three Aleap Founders
At this month’s First Friday Coffee at Oslo Science Park, three of Aleap’s female founders took the stage to share the stories behind their companies and the problems they are working to solve.
With International Women’s Day approaching on 8 March, we want to take the opportunity to introduce the people behind the ideas and highlight some of the work being built within the Aleap community.
Women play a strong role across Aleap, as founders, executives, and leaders throughout our portfolio. It’s something we are genuinely proud of, and moments like this give us a chance to celebrate the people helping shape the future of health innovation.
Mari Gjesdal, Previto
Mari is the CMO and co-founder of Previto, a company developing software for visualising pregnancies. The goal is to give clinicians better tools for measuring fetal structures using MRI while integrating seamlessly with existing clinical systems rather than replacing them.
Eline Hørte, Viscale
Eline founded Viscale to help children and young people communicate pain and discomfort when words are hard to find. The solution gives healthcare professionals a clearer understanding of what a child is experiencing, enabling better conversations, faster assessments, and more confident treatment decisions.
Nora Marie Lundevall Arnet, Bedre Barsel
Nora Marie is the founder of Bedre Barsel, a company working to improve postnatal care for women. The postnatal period is one where many women feel underserved by the current healthcare system, and Bedre Barsel is focused on changing that through better follow-up and support.
Mari, Eline, and Nora Marie are three of many female founders and executives who are part of the Aleap community. We are proud to have them with us and excited to follow their journeys as they continue building their companies.
